Brussels, Belgium—Real America’s Voice correspondent and journalist Ben Bergquam delivered a fiery speech at the European Union Parliament’s “Make Europe Great Again” event recently, calling for patriots across Europe and America to stand against what he described as the “global enemies within.”
Bergquam, a staunch supporter of the populist-nationalist movement, warned of rising authoritarianism and suppression of free speech. In his speech, he drew parallels between censorship in the United States and Europe, emphasizing that populist and Christian nationalist voices are under attack.

Youth Rising Against Globalism
One of Bergquam’s key messages focused on the youth movement. He argued that young people are becoming the counter-culture, rejecting globalist ideologies. “Populist Christian nationalists are the counter-culture of today,” he declared. He urged the youth to take a stand, saying, “Each generation must stand up. If we don’t, we will lose everything.”
He tied this message to the broader populist movement, claiming that elites in both America and Europe fear young voices pushing back against leftist control. “They want to silence us, but the truth is, the youth are waking up.”
Survey Confirms Bergquam’s Claims
A recent survey from Students for Life’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement supports Bergquam’s assertion that young voters are shifting toward conservative-Populist values. The study, conducted by Survey USA and YouGov, found that Gen Z and Millennials overwhelmingly reject the Democratic Party’s extreme abortion policies.
- Fewer than 10% of young voters support abortion through all nine months of pregnancy.
- Nearly 70% favor placing some restrictions on abortion.
- 60% believe human rights begin in the womb.
- Over 90% want mandatory screenings before chemical abortion pills are distributed.
- Less than half (48%) support taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
The survey challenges the assumption that younger generations lean overwhelmingly left on social issues. Instead, it suggests a growing pro-life sentiment among young voters, aligning with Bergquam’s message that a new wave of conservative activism is emerging.
A Global Battle for Freedom
Bergquam framed his speech as a rallying cry for patriots worldwide. He warned that Europe is on the same trajectory as the United States, with increasing censorship and political persecution. “The battle in America is the same battle in Europe,” he said. He pointed to the World Economic Forum and the “Great Reset” as threats to national sovereignty, urging resistance.
Referencing the 2020 election, Bergquam claimed it was “stolen” through mass mail-in ballots and suppression of dissent. “I watched them impeach Trump twice. I watched them gaslight anyone who questioned the election. Now they’re trying to do the same in Europe,” he argued.
A Call to Action
Bergquam called for unwavering resistance, even at great personal cost. “You have to be willing to go to prison or worse,” he said, referencing the persecution of conservative journalists and political figures. “The future of our children and grandchildren is at stake.”
His closing remarks reinforced his belief in an international populist uprising: “If we stand firm, we will not only make America great again, but we will make Europe great again—and, in doing so, we will save the world.”
