Bergquam Drops the Hammer: FBI’s J6 Focus Left America Vulnerable to Terror Threats

Investigative reporter and host of Law and Border, Ben Bergquam, from Real America’s Voice, issued a blistering critique of the FBI’s handling of January 6th, claiming that federal agents were pulled off active jihadist cases to target American citizens instead. Speaking with Steve Bannon on WarRoom, Bergquam exposed what he called a corrupt justice system that has been weaponized against conservatives.

“They have taken us off,” Bergquam revealed, referring to FBI counterterrorism agents. “The FBI has taken us off all actual jihadist cases, Terror threat cases in the United States, and focused all of our attention on January 6.”

The revelation stunned Bannon, who has long argued that J6 prosecutions are a political weapon. Bergquam, who was present at the Capitol on January 6th as a journalist, said he was shocked at the lengths the government was willing to go to silence dissent.

“Think about what that means for our country,” Bergquam continued. “That all these FBI agents from across the country were taken off active Islamic jihadist cases to focus on American citizens. The entire purpose was to shut down dissent—to shut down your voice, my voice, anyone who would stand up against this government.”

Bergquam tied the J6 prosecutions to a broader pattern of injustice, calling it a “completely corrupted system” that denies equal protection under the law. He warned that America is no longer operating under constitutional principles.

“You don’t have speedy trials anymore. You don’t have any of the safeguards the Constitution was set up to protect us from our government,” Bergquam said. “Now, if you have a corrupt government in charge, they can do whatever the hell they want to you, and you really have no recourse until you get another government in power.”

J6 Inmates Face Unthinkable Abuse

Bannon and Bergquam also discussed the horrifying treatment of J6 detainees, with Bergquam sharing firsthand accounts of political prisoners who feared speaking out due to the threat of retaliation.

“Some of them were afraid to talk because they thought they were going to get more reprisals while they were in there,” Bergquam said. “Absolutely shocking.”

Bannon, who recently served time in federal prison, added that many J6 defendants were placed in “gladiator schools”—high-security prisons where survival is a daily struggle.

“They never expected in 10 billion years we’d ever win,” Bannon said. “Think about that for a second. All these guys are in prison, and so many of them were sent to gladiator schools.”

Bergquam highlighted the case of J6 defendant Joe Biggs, a father whose young daughter was left without him for years.

“When he went away, she was three,” Bergquam said. “She slept with his picture for two years because that was the only way she could see her dad.”

He slammed the government’s tactics, saying the persecution of J6 defendants was intentional psychological warfare designed to break conservatives into submission.

“Every bit of that is by design,” Bergquam said. “To tell you, ‘We’re in control. You will do what we say, even if you know you were completely unjustly treated. Because if you don’t, it will get worse.’”

The Left’s Double Standard on Political Violence

Bergquam didn’t hold back when calling out the left’s hypocrisy on political violence, contrasting the harsh treatment of J6 defendants with the leniency shown to Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters.

“We’re seeing the weaponization of Antifa, BLM,” Bergquam said. “Now you’ve got millions of illegals across our country. You’ve got Hamas, where they’re given a green light to do whatever they want by these DAs in these leftist hellholes.”

He described recent confrontations between J6 families and left-wing activists, noting that Capitol Police often turned a blind eye when conservatives were targeted.

“They go up to give a press conference, and you’ve seen Antifa and BLM—they’re right up in their face, trying to pick a fight,” Bergquam said. “And Capitol Hill cops are running away.”

Bannon agreed, saying the system is designed to crush political opponents while shielding the radical left.

“This is just the beginning,” Bergquam warned. “What we had the last four years is only going to get worse unless something changes.”

Trump’s Focus on Justice

Despite the grim picture, Bergquam ended on a hopeful note, pointing to President Trump’s determination to right these wrongs.

“President Trump is very focused on this,” Bergquam said. “I can tell you, President Trump is very focused on this.”

With Trump back in the White House, Bergquam and Bannon made clear that the fight for justice is far from over.
