Trump’s Post-Inauguration Agenda: Bold Plans for Immediate Action
Washington, D.C. – January 19, 2025
Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam appeared on-air tonight with a passionate update on former President Donald Trump’s ambitious plans as he prepares to take office. Speaking with the show’s host, Bergquam detailed Trump’s expected flurry of executive actions aimed at tackling a wide array of issues right from the start.
Watch:
“Once he’s inaugurated, once he’s sworn in, he is getting right down to work,” Bergquam emphasized. “Initially, we were reporting about a hundred executive orders. Now, there are reports of upwards of 200 executive orders he plans to sign immediately.”
Bergquam underscored the symbolic importance of this move. “It’s putting a proverbial stamp on what he plans to do over the next four years,” he added.
January 6 and Justice
One of the top priorities Trump reportedly hinted at involves addressing the aftermath of January 6. Bergquam touched on the long-standing controversies surrounding the event. “Some of these people are still being held without trial,” he stated. “You talk about a banana republic—over 1,500 convictions—and now we know the FBI had infiltrated this, instigated it in some respects.”
He continued, pointing a finger at Democratic leadership. “Nancy Pelosi knew it was coming and chose not to use the resources President Trump had offered. That’s going to be investigated.”
Bergquam expressed hope for those he described as “January 6 hostages” and the families affected. “When those hostages are released, when justice is restored, it’ll be a turning point,” he declared.
Bergquam mentioned activist Suzanne Monk, someone we have covered for years:
Immigration and Energy Independence
The correspondent also highlighted Trump’s plans to undo Biden-era policies that have defined immigration and energy strategies. “We’re going to stop the CBP One app that’s inviting the invasion into our country. Restore the Remain in Mexico policy. Start drilling in ANWR again. Change the Gulf of Mexico into the Gulf of America so we can drill there, too.”
Bergquam framed these actions as critical to reasserting America’s sovereignty and energy independence.
Global and Legislative Strategy
The plans extend beyond executive orders, Bergquam noted. “Executive orders are great for immediate impact,” he said, “but they’re not enough for the long term.”
According to Bergquam, Trump is keenly aware of this limitation. “We have to have Congress pass legislation. We need Mike Johnson, the House, and the Senate to prevent these issues from reoccurring.”
Bergquam called for investigations into sanctuary states and funding cuts for sanctuary cities. “We’ve got to prosecute those involved with the cartels and set safeguards to prevent this in the future,” he stressed.
A Message to the Left
In a direct message to political opponents, Bergquam said, “God bless President Trump for what he’s going to do, but legislation is key. No, Joe Biden, you can’t just say the 28th Amendment is passed. It has to go through the process. That’s how this works.”
As the night drew to a close, Bergquam expressed optimism. “It all starts tomorrow,” he said, “once President Trump swears in.”
The bold vision outlined by Trump and echoed by Bergquam signals a transformative approach to the challenges ahead, with action promised from day one.
