Kamala Harris’ Failed Immigration Policies: Coptic Christians Flee Tyranny Only to Face Cartel Ransom, Trump Law and Order Needed

In an emotional interview with Ben Bergquam, a group of Egyptian Coptic Christian men they revealed the horrors they faced while fleeing their homeland, only to be kidnapped by the Mexican cartel en route to the United States. These men, who had no choice but to escape the persecution and tyranny of Islamist extremists in Egypt, now find themselves grappling with a new terror: the criminal cartels that control the southern border. Bergquam opened the interview by noting the tears of one of the men, who explained that he never wanted to leave his homeland in the first place.

The interview made it clear that this journey wasn’t a choice for a better life but a flight for survival. One man shared, “We are fleeing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, trying to survive, but when we reached Mexico, we were kidnapped for 12 days by the Sinaloa cartel.” Another explained the fear they felt when their captors took their phones, leaving them with no means to contact their families. The trauma was evident as the men recounted their ordeal, highlighting that they hadn’t seen their families in months and feared for their safety.

Bergquam pointed out the harsh irony of the situation: “This is what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have invited. They say they’re doing it compassionately, but what they’re really doing is putting people’s lives in danger.” The emotional plea of these Coptic Christians underscores the failure of the current administration’s border policies, which, according to Bergquam, are worsening global crimes against vulnerable groups. “Would you recommend this way to others?” Bergquam asked, to which one of the men replied, “No, don’t do it this way. It’s not safe.”

The conversation exposed the dangers of illegal immigration, fueled by the Biden administration’s lax policies. These men’s stories are a testament to the reality that those seeking genuine asylum, fleeing persecution and violence, are often left to navigate treacherous paths. Bergquam emphasized that many of these migrants end up in the hands of cartels or even lose their lives.

“We have asylum laws for a reason,” Bergquam argued. “What’s happening now is the left in America is inviting millions to come without justifiable claims, making it harder for true asylum seekers like these men.” He and many others who support President Trump call for a return to law and order, ensuring immigration policies that are both compassionate and protective of human lives.
