“No to Another Iraq”: Bannon, Trump, and the Anti-War Revival

The drums of war are beating. Mainstream pundits—from the far left media to controlled opposition Fox News—are framing a rapid-fire narrative for U.S. intervention in the Israel-Iran conflict. But something unusual is happening: Trump isn’t playing along so far. And neither is Steve Bannon.

Quick Clip about Bannon-Trump White House meeting this week:

Bannon, reacting on the WarRoom to former Trump Press Secretary, and current Fox talking head, Kaleigh Mc, after meeting with Trump, delivered a stark warning: “This type of infantile cheering is what led to Section 60 at Arlington.” (source: Bannon)

It’s a shot across the bow of the same establishment voices that dragged us into Iraq. As pointed out by InfoWars host, Alex Jones, who appeared on the WarRoom to deliver an Anti-War message to President Trump, ” Jones On Iran: “Regime Change Would Spiral Into A Quagmire Russia And China Are Ready To Exploit ‘”(Source: Alex Jones).

That’s not just reckless, Jones said. That’s deliberate.

Meanwhile, President Trump is holding steady. His decision to wait two weeks—a delay that conspicuously followed his meeting with Bannon—signals a return to caution, a refusal to be dragged into another quagmire.

Confirmed:

Christian principles underlie Bannon’s appeal: war should be a last resort, not a geopolitical reflex. In his Monitor Breakfast appearance, Bannon invoked the Christian imperative to resist empire-building and instead restore the nation’s soul (source: Bannon Monitor).

The MAGA movement echoes this. Their rallying cry? Fix the border. Expose the 2020 fraud. Defend the forgotten man. Anything less is a betrayal.

Social media is ablaze with grassroots warnings. Intervention in the Middle East now would undermine Trump’s long-awaited 2025 agenda. Instead of focusing on rebuilding America, the risk is that foreign wars dissolve domestic victories. And with news breaking of the increase in Black male voters to the MAGA movement (Source: David Drucker), the distraction seems all too convenient.

The real fight is at home: to secure the border, to reform government, to bring accountability to Washington. A war abroad would delay all of it.

Trump is holding the line—for now. But it’s MAGA’s job to make sure he keeps that promise.

This is part two of a three-part series covering Bannon’s WarRoom on Real America’s Voice, for the Week of Israel’s escalation in the Iran conflict, dates June 13, 2025, to June 21, 2025.
