‘Uncle Sugar’s War’: Bannon Warns WW3 Is Already Here, And It’s Not Our Fight

Steve Bannon opened Monday morning’s WarRoom with a shot across the bow: World War III isn’t coming. It’s already here.

“We are on the precipice of something not in our control,” Bannon warned. “We are about to arm people we don’t have control over.”

It’s not a “War on Terror.” It’s not a quick 12-day skirmish. “This is a major, old-fashioned, pounded-out war. And it’s about to spin out of control.”

The warning comes as corporate media focuses on other matters. CNN, for example, just ran an interview with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, applauding America’s attempt to “re-industrialize” tech manufacturing. “Exactly the right thing,” Huang said, calling for investment in U.S. production.

That’s nice, but Bannon says it won’t matter if Taiwan falls. “If those advanced chip factories are taken or destroyed by the Chinese Communist Party, our economy drops 10 to 15% — instantly,” he said. “The plants in Arizona, Ohio? They won’t be ready for a decade.”

Bannon has long argued that Taiwan is a true national security interest. Ukraine and the Middle East? Not so much.

“We’ve preached this gospel for years. The southern border and East Asia — that’s what matters. Ukraine is not in our vital interest. The Middle East is not in our vital interest. Full stop.”

Bannon wasn’t subtle about the direction this is going.

“There’s a 675,000-man Russian army standing by,” he said, referencing mainstream reporting from The Atlantic and Axios — not MAGA media. “And the media told us Russia had nothing left. They lied.”

He described a July 3 call between President Trump and Vladimir Putin. “Didn’t go well,” Bannon said. “The same day, Russia lights up Kyiv harder than it’s been hit in months. They’re moving.”

This isn’t hypothetical. It’s already bloody. “You’ve got 1 million dead or wounded Ukrainians. One million Russian casualties. This isn’t a proxy war. This is a war of annihilation. And we’re funding it.”

And yet, the weapons keep coming — from us. “We are about to give a weapons package to a force that’s desperate, cornered, and capable of anything. And we have no control over what they do.”

It’s reckless, Bannon argued. “Even the most optimistic view says long-range weapons won’t change the outcome. Ukraine doesn’t have enough people. Russia’s got the mass, and they’re grinding.”

And if Ukraine strikes deep into Russian territory? “Then what?” Bannon asked. “You light up strategic targets inside Russia, and guess what? You get escalation. Real escalation.”

That’s when “Uncle Sugar” — Bannon’s name for the U.S. taxpayer — gets called in again. “They’re coming to us already. Every time it spirals, we’re the bailout plan.”

“This is how it happens,” Bannon warned. “Just like 1914. Just like 1939. Things get out of hand, and nobody knows how to stop it.”

And this time, the fire won’t stay over there.
