BETRAYED! Police Cam Footage Shows Maskless Raleigh Police Mocked COVID Protestors Before Arrest- Case STILL Not Settled

“King” Roy Cooper, the Democrat Governor of North Carolina, used his COVID-19 power grab to rule over the free people of North Carolina with an iron fist, demanding oppressive lockdown measures and holding on to his “emergency powers” long past time when anyone else thought there was an emergency.

Article has been UPDATED to include information about the original source of the cam footage.

Just a little flashback first:

In the early days of 2020, Cooper was one of the first Democrats to demand that American citizens give up their civil liberties and live in a cage- to soothe his virtue signaling about the pandemic.

At the time, a group of concerned citizens gathered in the capital city of Raleigh to protest Cooper’s actions. However, recent footage from a police cam shows that one protestor, who is still embroiled in legal issues from her arrest, was caught up in a dragnet and arrested for protesting because the activity had been deemed “non essential” at the time.

News of Monica Ussery’s arrest made national news on the Tucker Carlson Show and was covered by other outlets for the apparent anti-American attitude toward peaceful protest; according to her, she is still under a gag order, even though the charges against her were dropped in Feb 2023.

In the video, it is clearly heard and understood that Raleigh Police Captain Dedric Bond said about his plan to arrest the protests over “health concerns,” which apparently includes input from Lorrin Freeman, the DA for Wake Co, North Carolina:

“What I want to do is make an example out of …and what I’m hoping is that as we start locking up a few of these agitators that the rest will just automatically disperse. There has been a long conversation with Lorrin Freeman and when all is said and done and you see the videos that are already online and everything, it’s obvious that we can’t allow that to happen. We already got the Intel that they’re planning to do this again next Tuesday,” Bond said. “So, I think this is the opportunity to get it right this time and hope that we won’t, uh, have to go to the same thing next Tuesday.”

So now we know from footage that the arrest was enjoyed as an inside joke to Raleigh’s Police, who were maskless at the time and had the plan to wear masks and gloves in order to say others at the protest were being arrested for being without masks and gloves and were presenting a “health concern” Update- this footage was originally posted by a local journalist, Stephen Horn on Youtube April 14 and on Rumble and then again Twitter on April 17th and then was promoted by the local Republican party:

Here is Fox footage from 2020:

I reported in the year update of the arrest for Gateway Pundit:

The hypocrisy is astonishing… as Roy Cooper himself marched weeks later, maskless, with violent rioters who looted and trashed downtown Raleigh:

From her Give, Send, Go:

April 14th, 2020: We Remember!!!That day Governor Cooper used law enforcement to infringe North Carolina citizens’ rights to redress their grievances for his effort to deem businesses and employees essential and non-essential. The 1st Amendment of our United States Constitution reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Monica Ussery stood for our freedom that day in April of 2020 as local law enforcement posted on social media that, “…We explained to protestors that at this time, they are not allowed to protest. It is a non-essential activity and violates the Governor’s Executive Order.” Law enforcement solely arrested Monica as she stood in the parking lot at Jones near Wilmington in the capital city of Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 14th, 2020. On June 1st, 2020, while still under the Executive Order, the Governor walked with another group of protestors marching on the street in front of the Executive Mansion. Hours later, those protestors looted and burned essential and nonessential businesses in downtown Raleigh. Over a year later on June 4th, 2021, Monica was found guilty of defying Governor Cooper’s Executive Order and trespassing for her presence in the parking lot where she advocated for our freedom to live, work and bring grievances to those in elected public service. On February 20th, 2023 she won the appeal. It’s taken 3 years of faithful, legal action. As she and supporters remember her stand, the cost to defend our freedom continues to linger. As we acknowledge the 3 year anniversary, will you join in assisting with the cost to defend our right to peaceably assemble and FREELY petition our elected leaders? Current expense from the last 3 years remains just over $22,360. For more information watch for additional media links.

**Monica remains under gag order which limits her ability to share and answer questions.

Thank you for the prayers, encouragement and financial support!
