Dems Sue Trump Train Drivers For ‘Political Violence’ Over 2020 Campaign Bus Stop

A  White woman, married to a Hispanic Man; Texas couple- is being sued by numerous White Democrats who were riders on a campaign bus for Democrat Joe Biden in 2020. The Driver of the Bus, who is Black, is also suing the couple for flying a Trump flag alongside the Bus as it traveled on a Texas Highway.

“We feel like we are making a stand for free speech because this could happen to any of us.  The Democrats are well funded and have joined together, and we are a homeschool Mom and a plumber. They are using lawfare to try to destroy our lives and punish and scare President Trump’s supporters. But we won’t stop supporting him,” Joelynn Messaros told me. “The legal fees to fight this have been a burden and are scary, because the Democrats have unlimited funds and power, however.”

The claim is that Joelynn- along with her husband were “Trump Train” motorists then, and the couple’s actions were suppressing the voices of Black American voters.

Numerous supporters of Biden became hysterical at the couple’s show of defiance to Biden- because the action of the drivers went viral, with even Trump tweeting about it at the time, and that highlighted the lack of interest and attendance for Biden’s campaign events.  A complete and utter humiliation for supporters of Biden.

Even though President Donald J. Trump received historically high numbers of Black and Hispanic votes and continues to receive a historically high number of Black and Hispanic activist groups supporting him, Democrats insist that all support of Trump and all opposition to White Joe Biden is in fact- “racist,” so that is the legal claim in this crazy story.

Lawyers are using an old KKK law to battle the homeschool Mom and plumber and use the full weight of lawfare against them, to bankrupt the young family and set an anti-free speech foundation for further rebelliousness against their Democrats candidates.

The 2021 lawsuits were filed by nonprofit groups Protect Democracy and The Texas Civil Rights Project along with the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP on behalf of Timothy Holloway, the driver of the Biden bus that day in October; Biden campaign volunteer Eric Cervini; Biden campaign staffer David Gins; and former Democratic Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis, the Hill reported last year.

Even though actual footage shows something completely different happened as I covered at the time, the Biden campaign claimed they were “ambushed and crashed into” and they canceled an event, claiming they were too traumatized and victimized to continue on with their bus tour.

Numerous Democrats -Grassroots Marketing Platforms have used the opportunity to create a sort of “soviet show trial” for the media and the public- over the issue, personally attacking the couple, as seen in this article by Living Blue Texas.

Remember this is a Civil Trial.  There were no crimes broken on this day- even though the Democrats claim they are the victims of many severe crimes.

They were so victimized, in fact- the claim was that they had to cancel the unnoticed campaign events, because a caravan of Trump supporters surrounded its bus in one location, attempted to force it to stop in the middle of the highway and tried to run it off the road.

Messaros explained her side of the story on a Tik Tok that went viral:

The couple asked that the case be dismissed, while the left and their various political media campaigns continued to push the narrative set out by the Democrats of their victimhood. That point is important to understand as the couple will have to now make their case in front of a Jury.

“We are accepting of this in a way, because we have a strong faith in God that things happen for a reason. While this is scary because we simply don’t have the finances to face this alone, we also believe as a couple our fight could help other Americans who may face the same sort of legal challenges by the Democrats in the future,” Messaros told me.

After months of racking up legal bills waiting for a reply from an Obama-placed judge about dismissing the case, the couple got the message last week that their already year-long financial and legal struggles would continue.

“While we were waiting for the judge to make this long-awaited decision, we racked up another $50,000 dollars in legal bills.  We feel they are trying to bankrupt us,”  Messaros told me on Saturday.

The Hill reported on the recent update of the lawsuit:

“A federal judge on Wednesday declined to throw out a civil lawsuit against a group of Trump supporters who surrounded a Biden campaign bus on a Texas highway in 2020.

U.S. District Judge Robert Pittman rejected the “Trump Train” defendants’ motion to dismiss the case filed by a group of Biden campaign staffers and supporters, including former Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis (D).

Pittman, an Obama appointee, said in a 14-page decision that the suit would move forward over the defendants’ various legal and procedural objections to the complaint.”

Even after watching months of violent attacks on Republic lawmakers, and riots in the streets of many major areas in the summer of 2020 – ahead of the election, the left feels justified to describe the “Trump Train” caravan as “political violence”.

According to the Hill:

The lawsuit accused the defendants of violating the Reconstruction-era Ku Klux Klan Act, which bars efforts to harm those engaged in political advocacy.

Tim Holloway, one of the plaintiffs and the driver of the bus during the incident, applauded Pittman’s ruling Wednesday.

“Today the court reaffirmed that political violence has no place in our democracy,” Holloway said in a statement. “And though the threats and intimidation we experienced are haunting, at least there is hope that our harassers will be held accountable.”

This is a story that demonstrates the extreme measures Democrats will go to stop the Populist uprising behind President Donald J. Trump, and how far individual Democrats will fall to marginalize and shame Americans who are not on the Marxist plantation- readers will be stunned that the saga of the Biden bus Blues is ongoing.

Biden’s team was humiliated, and it appears this lawsuit is revenge, and perhaps a threat to others who may protest Democrats:

KVUE reported untrue information, saying there was a “crash”, while there are no reports of a crash:

“The attack on our clients on the Biden-Harris campaign bus is part of a troubling pattern of increasing political violence in the U.S. in recent years — culminating in the insurrection at Congress on Jan.  6, 2021,” added Emma Hilbert, senior attorney at the Texas Civil Rights Project.

Some individuals in the Trump convoy live-streamed the incident before a vehicle crashed into a campaign car.

The truth never stops the left from promoting their narrative. Consider the following article from October 2020:

DRAFTING ON THE TRUMP CARAVANS AND FLAG DROPS

Just weeks before the election the Biden/Harris campaign team devised a plan that they obviously did not think through or one which they knew would allow them to cry about their victimhood.

The plan was hatched to take a large bus through Texas, which contained various local officials and members of the Biden/ Harrs staff- from empty campaign stop, to empty campaign stop.

Obviously, the crack team of consultants didn’t think about the months and months of very long “Trump trains” of motorists who had already been on the very same roads making news.

At the time – remember- Trump caravans were hugely popular all over the United States

It kind of looks like the Biden team tried to copy the Trump activists- and when things didn’t go well for the Democrat team- they screamed victim and are not trying to destroy an American couple with lawfare while pouting that Biden/ Harris wasn’t more popular.

According to Protect Democracy, the lawsuit is well funded by social justice and international legal group:

Protect Democracy is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing American democracy from declining into a more authoritarian form of government.

The Texas Civil Rights Project is boldly serving the movement for equality and justice in and out of the courts. We use our tools of litigation and legal advocacy to protect and advance the civil rights of everyone in Texas, and we partner with communities across the state to serve the rising movement for social justice. We undertake our work with a vision of a Texas in which all communities can thrive with dignity, justice and without fear.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is an international law firm of approximately 850 attorneys.
