Fact Check: Trump Was Right in Debate About the Border Crisis, and the Ease In Which Kamala Harris Could End it All

Tim Foley’s video compilation, shared with Ben Bergquam of America’s Voice Law and Border, has ignited strong reactions among concerned citizens. The footage, recorded over several days, shows camouflaged men carrying backpacks, presumed to be cartel members smuggling drugs, crossing the U.S.-Mexico border through well-worn paths in the Arizona wilderness. As the video spread, it underscored the urgency of a crisis that some felt was sidelined during the ABC News presidential debate, which appeared to prioritize Kamala Harris over addressing the escalating border issues seriously.

These were Trump’s closing remarks from the Tuesday debate:

The reaction to Foley’s video was swift. One of the groups monitoring cartel activity, Oreo Express, expressed frustration with the lack of attention to the ongoing border crisis. “Will ABC ask about this invasion that continues to go on at our border? Or will they allow Kamala to lie about the border crossing numbers now that the government is also flying them in?” they asked on social media, calling out the media’s avoidance of the border crisis as a pressing issue.

TRUMP IS RIGHT… IT IS THAT EASY..

THE UN COMPACT IS NON-BIDING, KAMALA HARRIS COULD END IT ALL RIGHT NOW:

We have converted for years that the border crisis comes from a UN agreement- the administration doesn’t need to go to Congress to end this disaster.

Ben Bergquam also reacted strongly, sharing the footage with his audience and urging them to spread the message. In his post, Bergquam highlighted the systemic failures in U.S. immigration enforcement, stating, “These are cartel members, illegals that don’t want to get caught, and drug traffickers! This is what happens when you allow Democrats to run our immigration system.” He further called for political change, specifically advocating for voting Democrats and RINOs out and restoring Trump’s border policies.

One key point that garnered attention was Donald Trump’s accurate statements during the debate. Unlike other candidates, Trump pointed out that the border crisis could have been alleviated by Kamala Harris without even going to Congress. He referenced the United Nations Global Compact for Migration, a non-binding agreement that contributes to the ongoing migration. Trump’s remarks, which were largely ignored by mainstream media, highlighted the connection between international agreements and the U.S.’s border struggles. Despite the gravity of this point, media coverage of Trump’s comments was limited, focusing instead on other aspects of the debate.

And Trump is right, the Biden-Harris administration has values that we do not have- and they are not even trying to stop what is happening at the border:

As Foley’s video continues to spread, it reinforces Trump’s critique of the current administration’s handling of the border and emphasizes the growing concern that the border crisis remains unchecked under Democratic leadership.
