Ben Bergquam Investigates Tesla Explosion at Trump Hotel: What We Know

A Chilling New Year’s Day in Las Vegas

A deadly explosion shook the entrance of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day, leaving one person dead and seven others injured. The blast originated from a Tesla Cybertruck, which burst into flames just outside the hotel doors. Officials quickly classified the incident as suspicious and are investigating it as a potential terrorist attack.

Unanswered Questions Surround the Incident

The rented Tesla Cybertruck arrived at the hotel around 7:30 a.m., and the explosion occurred roughly an hour later. Law enforcement confirmed gasoline canisters and large fireworks in the truck bed caused the explosion. However, the motive remains unclear, and officials have yet to establish a connection to any terrorist group.

Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill stated, “We believe this is an isolated incident,” while thanking Tesla CEO Elon Musk for assisting with vehicle telemetry data that helped track the truck’s route to Las Vegas.

Bergquam Spotlights Public Distrust

Real America’s Voice, Ben Bergquam, visited the site shortly after the incident, speaking with witnesses and supporters of former President Donald Trump. His coverage highlighted growing public distrust of government narratives surrounding the explosion.

In interviews in and near the lobby of the Hotel where the explosion happened, Bergquam noted a prevailing skepticism about the Biden administration’s transparency. “Nobody trusts what’s coming out of Joe Biden’s regime,” one man remarked. Another supporter emphasized their visit to Trump Hotel as a show of solidarity: “We came here to stay, just to show support for Trump and his hotels.”

Connections to Other Attacks?

The Las Vegas explosion occurred mere hours after another incident in New Orleans, where a truck flying an ISIS flag plowed into New Year’s Eve revelers, killing 15. Both vehicles involved in these attacks were rented from the same company, Turo. Investigators are probing whether there’s any connection between the two events.

Turo released a statement assuring their full cooperation with law enforcement. “We do not believe that either renter had a criminal background that would have identified them as a security threat,” the company said.

Trump Supporters Rally Amid Chaos

Bergquam’s interviews captured the resilience and determination of Trump supporters, many of whom expressed unwavering loyalty despite the heightened security measures at Trump properties nationwide. One supporter said, “A lot of people think Trump will fix everything for us. He’ll help, but we need to get behind him to save this country.”

Increased Security Across Trump Properties

In the wake of the explosion, Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas evacuated guests to Resorts World Las Vegas, and heightened security measures were implemented. Trump Tower in New York and Trump International in Chicago also increased their security perimeters as a precaution.

A Community United

Bergquam’s coverage painted a picture of a community united by their shared support for Trump. Despite the chaos and uncertainty surrounding the incident, many expressed hope for the future and faith in Trump’s leadership.

“We’re going through a lot as a nation, but I believe we’ll come out stronger,” said one man Bergquam interviewed in the lobby of the hotel who had traveled to the spot with his sons, just to support President Trump.

The Road Ahead

As investigations into the Tesla explosion continue, many questions remain unanswered. Who rented the truck, and why did they target the Trump Hotel? Was this part of a coordinated attack?

For now, officials stress there’s no immediate threat to the public.
