Art Moore wrote for World Net Daily recently about an insane case that proves the left are not at all liberal- they are fascists- and they are embracing the slow slide from a Marxist Revolution into the control tactics of Communism.
This is a story of Cancel Culture gone crazy. Two lawyers were chased out of a practice for winning for their client- because they won a major pro-guns case.
Remember- a Liberal is a person who is supposed to support and defend an ideology that relates to or denotes a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise. These people who push to cancel others are NOT cool liberals. They are Tyrannts and Fascists.
One might consider cancel culture like this to be a tool of Communism.
As Fox News reported about the Communist roots of American Cancel Culture:
Censorship is something we’re used to seeing in China, but we should be shocked when we see signs of it in our own backyard.
As authoritarian rule in China reaches new heights with the Chinese Communist Party’s implementation of a social credit system, the United States should do everything in its power to resist following the same path.
China’s social credit system, designed to track every Chinese citizen’s social and economic behavior, is the CCP’s attempt at total control over its citizens’ lives. While the United States might not have an official social credit system, the radical left – through cancel culture and censorship of ideas – has created something that’s eerily similar.
What else would you call this story? Other than cancel culture?
Law firm forces out own lawyers who won Supreme gun case! ‘We were given a stark choice’
Two lawyers who successfully argued the landmark Supreme Court case affirming a constitutional right to be armed outside the home have been forced out of their Washington, D.C., law firm.
Amid pressure from clients and other attorneys at the firm, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, no longer will handle Second Amendment cases, Politico reported.
The shake-up for the law firm- to cancel two of their lawyers- comes at the same time a statement was released to the press of a prestigious move for another one of their lawyers- who was being rewarded and moving up in the world of power:
Kirkland & Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Ellen Jakovic, of counsel in Kirkland’s Antitrust Practice Group based in Washington, D.C., took an oath on Friday, June 23 to become the D.C. Bar’s 51st president. Created in 1972, the D.C. Bar is the largest unified bar in the United States, with approximately 113,000 members in all 50 states and more than 80 countries.
The intolerant left was not pleased about the victory for gun owners.
Former Solicitor General Paul Clement and Erin Murphy, who argued successfully before the Supreme Court in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen, said they had to resign.
“We were given a stark choice: either withdraw from ongoing representations or withdraw from the firm,” Clement said in a statement reported by Politico.
“Anyone who knows us and our views regarding professional responsibility and client loyalty knows there was only one course open to us: We could not abandon ongoing representations just because a client’s position is unpopular in some circles.”
Kirkland spokesman Jon Ballis told Politico he hoped the firm could continue to work with the two attorneys on matters not related to guns.
