Democrat Joe Biden hasn’t announced he is running for President again in 2024, but he is busy having his administration set out a draconian climate change power grab on Americans for bonus points with the environmental greenies to give them all another victory dance over the embattled, miserable people of the United States.

No one is really free anymore in the United States of America because citizens are forced to submit to the dominance and control of special needs groups, who have the progressive privilege to impact public policy in the name of ‘saving the planet’.
Or it could be that Biden intentionally created an energy crisis.
Whatever the case, Biden’s leftist public policy demands have taken the most powerful country on Earth down to our knees and now while we are down there, we will be begging for some cool air- because the Democrats are planning on taking our affordable air cooling devices.
What is important to remember is that when energy prices are low, and everything is functioning well for the working-class people in the United States, the leftist elite are out of power- and unhappy. That is when they devise schemes to make us uncomfortable.
So they devise schemes like this, as reported by Not The Bee:
The U.S. Department of Energy announced new regulations on Thursday for home air conditioning units, portable air cleaners, and window air conditioners to “reduce [the] nation’s carbon footprint.” The department said the regulations are part of President Joe Biden’s efforts toward “tackling the climate crisis.”
New rules will dictate the amount of water that comes out of your showerhead, how much warm air comes out of your heater, and how much cool air comes out of air conditioners. There is even talk about gadgets monitoring your home’s temperature in the winter and summer months.
One poster online had an idea that the push for control was a consequence of failed policies:

The regulations, unveiled Thursday by the Department of Energy (DOE), finalize energy efficiency standards for home air conditioning units, or window air conditioners, and portable air cleaners. The DOE said the move would cut air pollution and push consumer costs down by billions of dollars via energy savings.
“Today’s announcement builds on the historic actions President Biden took last year to strengthen outdated energy efficiency standards, which will help save on people’s energy bills and reduce our nation’s carbon footprint,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in a statement.
“DOE will continue to engage with our public and private sector partners to finalize additional proposals like today’s that lower household energy costs and deliver the safer, healthier communities that every American deserves,” she continued.
According to the DOE, the new energy efficiency standards will save Americans about $1.5 billion annually and curb carbon dioxide emissions by 106 million metric tons over three decades. The agency added that the regulations were part of President Biden’s efforts to promote innovation and lower costs for families “while tackling the climate crisis.”
The rules for air cleaners are scheduled to be implemented in 2024 and the rules for room air conditioners are slated for 2026.
