Executives at Twitter have come out in the new year swinging hard for an obvious political agenda, just months- and in some places just weeks before the primaries for the 2022 mid-term elections.
At first glance, it appears that US House Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene was permanently banned from Twitter over their “COVID regulations,” however that might just be scratching the surface of the true agenda of removing the powerful supporter for President Donald J. Trump, from their platform.
Greene, on the heels of massive fundraising in 2021, who scared “the pants off the left”- has been removed from a powerful social media network, potentially decreasing her reach to voters.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene’s incredible fundraising haul reveals what the GOP is really about. Marjorie Taylor Greene raised more than $3 million in the first quarter of 2021,” VOX reported.
Consider this, Greene’s opponent called for her to be removed from Twitter just days before she was removed from Twitter. Convenient, huh?
Democrat Marcus Flowers is running to replace Greene and supports the censoring of his opponents, which is an interesting agenda for a US Veteran. Flowers is a US Military contractor and claims in his campaign literature:
“Marcus’s values are those of this district: loyalty, duty, honor, respect, service, integrity, unity, courage, and fierce love of America and its Constitution. Marcus swore an oath at 18 years old to “Protect and Defend” that document, and he lives by that oath daily.”
YET- here he is calling for Big Tech to censor an American because he disagrees with her point of view. I can’t make this up:
Just The News Reported on Greene’s permanent suspension:
Twitter said on Sunday it permanently suspended the personal account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over the social media platform’s COVID-19 misinformation policy.
The social network said in a statement that it took the action after “repeated violations” of the policy.
“We permanently suspended the account you referenced (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Hill in a statement.
Greene is active on GETTR and released a statement there in response to Twitter:
Was Greene removed from the Twitter platform because she disagrees with Twitter’s COVID agenda, or because she is a powerful US Rep who supports President Trump, and is up for re-election?
We report- you decide!
