‘Migration Surge’: Lofty Weight of Invaders Who Cross in AZ Through America’s Backyard, Shutdown State Law Enforcement

Illegal immigration and border policies in Arizona are causing a loss of quality of life for people who live in the US Southern Border. Still, the trouble does not stop at the homes and communities right on the border, according to Real America’s Voice Correspondent and host of Law and Border, Ben Bergquam.

On Sunday, Border Patrol announced that the US was experiencing a “migration surge.”

In a recent investigation, Bergquam reported that illegal invaders have a straightforward trek over the border, through people’s yards and to a paved road- for journeying into the United States.

Bergquam described in the video below seeing backpacks and gear dumped in a neighborhood that indicated illegal border crossing in that area.

And the Border policies of Democrat Joe Biden have forced all Border Patrol to back down from enforcing laws and enabled a very tragic situation for the American people. Bergquam said that Biden’s policies are allowing drug runners, sex traffickers, and criminals to enter the US undetected- by way of walking through the backyards of the American people.

Bergquam’s video comes at the same time border officials say the ongoing surge of migrants crossing the U.S./Mexico border has forced them to move officers from its Lukeville crossing to help with border enforcement. Arizonans traveling back from the famous Mexican resort town of Rocky Point can expect several hours of delays.

CBP released the following statement on Monday:

“The U.S. is continuing to see increased levels of migrant encounters at the Southwest Border, fueled by smugglers peddling disinformation to prey on vulnerable individuals and encourage migration. As we respond with additional resources and apply consequences for unlawful entry, the migration trends shift as well. We continue to adjust our operational plans to maximize enforcement efforts against those noncitizens who do not use lawful pathways or processes such as CBP One™.

“Beginning at 3 p.m. local time, CBP’s Office of Field Operations will temporarily suspend vehicle processing operations at Eagle Pass International Bridge 1 in Eagle Pass, Texas, and at 2 p.m. local time, reduce vehicle processing in Lukeville, Arizona, in order to redirect personnel to assist the U.S. Border Patrol with taking migrants into custody. In response to this influx in encounters, we will continue to surge all available resources to expeditiously and safely process migrants. We will maximize consequences against those without a legal basis to remain in the United States. CBP will continue to prioritize our border security mission as necessary in response to this evolving situation.”United States Customs and Border Protection
