Lt. Gov Mark Robinson Jams impromptu with John Rich, ‘Ive Been Everywhere, Man’

North Carolina Republican Lt. Governor Mark Robinson is running for Governor, and he will be the first Governor to jam out with country star John Rich, a former member of the country music band Lonestar.

Robinson is apparently a county music fan.

Country is a music genre originating in the Southern and Southwestern United States. First produced in the 1920s, the country primarily focuses on working-class Americans and blue-collar American life.

Robinson is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and is a leading candidate for the Governor position for 2024.

Robinson sang his rendition of the Hank Snow and Johnny Cash tune…with Rich.

“Had the pleasure of jammin some music with the next Governor of N.Carolina ⁦@markrobinsonNC⁩ at my house, and he NAILED some Johnny Cash! Pretty impressive,” Rich wrote with a clip of the performance.

Robinson is heard in the video jumping into the song:

“I’ve been to Pittsburgh, Parkersburg, Gravelburg, Colorado
Ellensburg, Rexburg, Vicksburg, El Dorado
Larimore, Atmore, Haverstraw, Chatanika
Chaska, Nebraska, Alaska, Opelika
Baraboo, Waterloo, Kalamazoo, Kansas City
Sioux City, Cedar City, Dodge City, what a pity

I’ve been everywhere, man
I’ve been everywhere, man
Crossed the desert’s bare, man
I’ve breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel I’ve had my share, man
I’ve been everywhere

I’ve been everywhere
